About WiseCasinoPicks

WiseCasinoPicks publishes hands-on reviews of crypto casinos. We deposit, we play, we cash out, and we record what actually happens. Every operator we recommend has been tested by a member of our editorial team with our own money, on our own wallets, against our own stopwatch.

Why this site exists

The crypto casino market is loud. Operators run aggressive affiliate programs, and a lot of “best of” lists you find online are written by people who have never made a deposit at the casinos they rank. We started WiseCasinoPicks in 2024 because we kept reading reviews that contradicted what our wallets actually told us — withdrawal times that did not match reality, bonus terms that were quietly worse than the headline, and “Curaçao licensed” claims that were impossible to verify on the regulator’s own database.

Our editorial mission is narrow and concrete: publish casino reviews you can stake real money on. If we list a withdrawal time, it is timestamped. If we describe a bonus, the terms are quoted directly from the operator’s own T&C. If we name a license, we have looked up the number on the regulator’s website ourselves.

The editorial team

WiseCasinoPicks is run by a small editorial team. We do not use ghostwriters. Every review carries the byline of the person who tested the operator. Our current contributors:

  • Marcus Lindberg — Crypto trader and withdrawal tester. Marcus runs our deposit-play-cashout benchmarks and writes our reviews of crypto-native operators (Stake, BC.Game, Bitcasino, BitStarz, mBit). Background: software engineering and on-chain payment infrastructure.
  • Sophie Dubois — Live dealer specialist. Sophie reviews live tables and dealer studios (Evolution, Pragmatic Live, Playtech Live) and benchmarks table-game variety, betting limits, and stream quality.
  • Lars Andersen — Slot variance and RTP analyst. Lars audits operator-reported RTPs against provider data sheets and writes our slot reviews. Background: applied statistics.
  • Anna van der Berg — Bonus hunter. Anna reads the long-form T&C documents the rest of the internet skips, computes effective bonus value across wagering requirements and contribution rates, and writes our bonus reviews.
  • Tom Chen — Mobile crypto casino wallet reviewer. Tom tests on-device wallet integrations, mobile UX, and biometric-auth flows.

How we make money

We disclose this openly because it matters. WiseCasinoPicks earns revenue through affiliate commissions when readers sign up at operators we cover. Affiliate revenue does not buy a higher ranking on our site, and it does not buy positive coverage. Our reviews are written before commercial terms are discussed, and we have removed operators from our top tier when they failed our tests — even when those operators were paying partners at the time.

We do not accept free play credit, comped accounts, or “review allowances” from operators. Every deposit we test with is our own.

What we cover

Our reviews are concentrated on operators that accept cryptocurrency as a first-class payment method. We cover Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether (USDT on ERC-20 and TRC-20), USDC, Litecoin, Solana, Dogecoin, Tron, Bitcoin Cash, ADA, BNB, and Zcash. We benchmark live casino, crash games, provably fair tables, slots, and crypto sportsbooks. We do not cover unlicensed offshore poker rooms or peer-to-peer betting markets — those require a different audit framework than we are equipped to run.

We refuse coverage requests from operators with active fraud investigations on player-protection forums (CasinoMeister, AskGamblers complaints database, ThePOGG) until those are resolved. We do not publish “review” content for any operator we would not personally deposit with.

Where we stand on responsible gambling

Casino content has an obligation that, say, hotel reviews do not: our readers can lose money they cannot afford to lose. Every operator review on this site lists the responsible-gambling tools the operator provides (deposit limits, session limits, self-exclusion, reality-checks). We deduct points from operators that hide these tools behind support tickets instead of in-account settings.

If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, please reach out to GamCare (UK), Gamblers Anonymous, or BeGambleAware. These services are free and confidential.

Editorial policies

Our full editorial standards are documented separately. See:

  • Editorial Guidelines — how we research, fact-check, and update our reviews
  • Methodology — the exact procedure we use to test withdrawal speed, support response, and bonus terms
  • Responsible Gambling Resources — limit-setting tools, self-exclusion services, and support contacts
  • Contact — how to reach the editorial team or flag a factual correction

Corrections policy

If you spot a factual error in any of our reviews — an outdated bonus, an inaccurate license number, a withdrawal time that no longer matches your experience — please tell us. Email [email protected]. We respond to factual corrections within five working days and, where the change is material, append a “Last updated” stamp to the affected review.
